One Hundred Years of Solitude and my family tree problem

Yes, nearly everyone is called Aureliano or José Arcadio. Yes, there's a family tree printed at the front, and yes, you will use it. I kept a bookmark there.

Once I stopped trying to keep track of everything and just let it wash over me, it became one of the great reading experiences of my life. It feels like being told a story by a very old relative who may be making some of it up. Ice and yellow butterflies and rain that doesn't stop.
